This page is maintained by the PyGenGo team to explain what data PyGenGo ("we", "us") collects when you use the app, why we collect it, and what choices you have. PyGenGo is an educational tool for IGCSE Computer Science classrooms.
PyGenGo is operated by its app owner. For any privacy question, deletion request, or access request, contact a138992@une.edu.mx.
We do not collect payment information. We do not collect location data. We do not sell personal data.
PyGenGo runs on the following providers, who process data on our behalf:
PyGenGo uses only the cookies and local storage strictly required to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. See our Cookies Policy for details.
We keep your account and learning history for as long as your account exists. If your teacher archives a classroom, your answers in that classroom are retained for academic reference. You can request full deletion at any time by emailing the address above; we will delete your personal data within 30 days unless we are legally required to retain it.
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, LFPDPPP in Mexico), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email us to exercise any of these rights.
PyGenGo is intended for IGCSE students (typically ages 14–16) and their teachers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security policies that scope each user's access. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of any material breach in line with applicable law.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
